Matthew Pinsent, the Olympic Gold Medal winner, presented the You Make The Difference award to the Wessex Signallers in 2005. Representing Salisbury were, Bob Driscoll, Dave Loweth, Garry Shaftoe, George Foster and Graham Tapper.

Paul receives his You Make The Difference award in 2004, for his involvement with the Salisbury Simulator.

Some of the Signallers, MOMs and assorted others from the West of England line visited the Swanage Railway on Wednesday 13th June 2007.
